LOTOS Shipyard JSC is a unique and one-of-a-kind enterprise in the industry, built in the mid-1980s, designed for the construction of inland waterway vessels and sets of block modules for topsides of fixed platforms intended for oil and gas exploration and production on the continental shelves of seas and oceans.

This design has a scaffolding aisle width of 1.5 meters to allow for comfortable working and temporary placement of necessary materials and equipment, while meeting the minimum aisle width requirements for scaffolding.

The load-bearing capacity of the working level can be between 300 and 600 kg/m² depending on the length of the span between scaffolding racks.

To improve labor efficiency and speed of work, pre-fabricated aluminum gangways were used to allow personnel to descend and ascend at the same time as carrying hand equipment and tools.
