Self-cleaning thread with automatic unscrewing height limiter and color indication

Self-cleaning thread with automatic unscrewing height limiter and color indication

It provides fast height adjustment, reliable operation of the jack (possibility of adjustment) in case of ingress of dirt, concrete and other construction debris.

The color indication and the unscrewing limiter on the jack rod prevents excessive unscrewing of the jack, thereby increasing the safety of operation of scaffolding structures.

Automatic right angles (90°) and arbitrary angles of elements installation in the mounting unit

Automatic right angles (90°) and arbitrary angles of elements installation in the mounting unit

Four narrow holes automatically align elements at right angles, while four wide holes allow elements to be installed at arbitrary angles, which greatly increases the versatility and flexibility of using the SmartScaff series scaffolding.

Ability to connect up to 8 different elements in a unit and central distribution of forces

Ability to connect up to 8 different elements in a unit and central distribution of forces

The wedge assembly allows you to connect both 8 horizontal elements (ledgers) and in combination with diagonal braces, for example: 6 ledgers + 2 diagonal braces, or 5 diagonal braces + 3 ledgers and so on.

Since the elements are fixed in one place (in an assembly), this automatically gives the system such an advantage as the central redistribution of efforts, which in turn ensures ease of design and correct operation of the scaffolding structure in the form of a braced frame without unnecessary additional bending moments that make the scaffolding structure weaker.

Symmetrical and equivalent assembly strength regardless of the force action direction

Symmetrical and equivalent assembly strength regardless of the force action direction

The permissible nodal forces in the SOYUZ SmartScaff series scaffolding have the same (symmetrical) values, regardless of the direction of the force and bending moment.

This facilitates static calculations, simplifies and makes the scaffolding assembly safe, since installers do not need to take into account the direction of force to ensure the safe operation of scaffolding structures (for example, suspended scaffolding).

One-piece molded spigot

One-piece molded spigot

This type of spigot has the following advantages:

  • Facilitates the standing of the scaffolding as a whole

  • Increases the stability of scaffolding structures (less backlash in connections between the standards)

  • Frees up an additional area for the installation of coupler connections

Universal pipe size ø48mm, allows connecting elements to each other at any point

Universal pipe size ø48mm, allows connecting elements to each other at any point

For high flexibility and versatility of using modular scaffolding, for example in cramped conditions or in non-standard spans and other situations, classic coupler connections can be used: a rotary and non-rotating coupler.

Clamp connections can be installed at arbitrary points between the following elements: ledger-standard, diagonal brace-standard, ledger-diagonal brace and many other variations of intersections between scaffolding elements.

Additionally, the pipe size ø48mm allows you to use a standard carabiner for securing workers; you do not need to select special carabiners with an enlarged throat.

Color navigation for standard sizes of the scaffolding main elements

Color navigation for standard sizes of the scaffolding main elements

This solution saves 20% of the time when searching and installing scaffolding.

We have developed and implemented color navigation for ledgers and diagonal braces. The "red" ledger corresponds to the "red" diagonal brace, the "green" ledger corresponds to the "green" diagonal brace, and so on.

Each type size has its own original marking color. For ease of memorization, the order of the colors was chosen according to their location on the rainbow.

The red arc is the longest on the rainbow, which corresponds to the longest standard horizontal element (ledger) with a length of 3 m.

The purple arc is itself the shortest on the rainbow, which corresponds to the shortest most commonly used standard horizontal element (ledger) with a length of 0.5 m.

All correspondences look as follows: span 3m – red, 2.5m – orange, 2m – yellow, 1.5m – green, 1m – light blue, 0.75m – blue, 0.5m – purple.

20-year lifespan

20-year lifespan

All scaffolding elements are made of steel or aluminum. The steel elements are protected against corrosion by hot or thermal diffusion galvanizing with a coating thickness of 60-80 microns.

Thermal diffusion galvanizing is used for parts with complex geometric shapes to provide a protective coating over the entire surface.

Interchangeable metric dimensions along the axes of the elements with a multiplicity of 0.25 m and 0.125 m

Interchangeable metric dimensions along the axes of the elements with a multiplicity of 0.25 m and 0.125 m

A simple, intuitive system for the installation and design of scaffolding structures with universal and interchangeable elements.

This multiplicity allows for faster installation and reduces the need for additional elements.

For example, our metric system allows us to assemble a 2-meter span, which consists of two-meter ledgers, that is, we get a simple equation: 1+1=2.

Additionally, we have developed the world's first Wedge-Wedge connector with an axial dimension of 0.125 m. When using it, the assembled scaffolding structure remains inside the metric system with a multiplicity of 0.25 m (2x0.125=0.25).
