Construction of an ice-resistant platform at South Shipbuilding and Ship Repair Center JSC

South Shipbuilding and Ship Repair Center JSC is a unified industrial complex consolidating the largest shipbuilding companies of Southern Russia. The Company is part of the United Shipbuilding Corporation.

Astrakhan Shipbuilding Association specializes in the construction of technical facilities for offshore field development: semi-submersible, jack-up and shallow-draft drilling rigs, drilling barges; fixed and floating process platforms; transport, technical and auxiliary vessels; steel structures for offshore and onshore infrastructure of offshore fields.

SOYUZ scaffolding is used for external and internal work during the construction of IFP A ice-resistant platform substructure for the development of the Kamennomysskoye-More Gas Field under the investment project of Gazprom PJSC.

The modular design of scaffolding, using cantilevered outriggers, allowed safe access to the welding areas of the platform both inside and outside the bays.

The use of SOYUZ scaffolding reduced the time of work on individual sites by up to 20% due to quick-assembly ringlock and high unification of scaffolding elements between each other.
