Construction of Hydroisodewaxing Complex at Gazprom Neft-Omsk Refinery

China National Chemical Engineering No.7 Construction Company Limited is engaged in design for chemical, petrochemical and medical projects, and also acts as a general construction contractor. It operates and supplies under EPC contract in the chemical, petrochemical, construction, environmental, electrical, hardware, steel, piping, road and energy sectors.

The project is one of the main hydrogenation processes to produce base oils with low pour point. The future complex will produce base components for synthetic motor and industrial oils and will allow the company to completely abandon imported counterparts in production.

SOYUZ, together with the customer's technical specialists, developed a complex design of highly loaded support scaffolding for the erection and casting of the fractionator pedestal.

The work culminated in casting of the fractionator base slab and its beams, which were over 35 meters high and up to 2.2 meters thick. The slab load was 8.5 t/m².

To implement such a large-scale project, SOYUZ additionally set up an installation supervision team to ensure fast assembly and safe operation of the supporting (bearing) scaffolding.
