Shutdown repairs at Bashneft-Ufaneftekhim, a branch of Bashneft PJSC

Description

Bashneft-Ufaneftekhim is a large modern oil refining site in Ufa. The total oil refining capacity of Bashneft is 23.5 MTPA. SOYUZ scaffolding was used for overhaul of the Delayed Coker Unit and 1A/1M Unit as ordered by Bashneft.

Scaffolding was required for the repair of the Delayed Coker Unit to ensure safe work on SER, instrumentation, repair and replacement of valves, process furnace coil repair, SER and repair of reactors. The company's specialists developed a scaffolding design to be used inside the reactor section vessels. There was a clearly planned sequence of delivery of scaffolding elements to the site, which allowed the work to be done ahead of schedule. The unit was put into operation 3 days earlier, which brought additional profit to the company.

1A/1M Unit was repaired during the cold season. In addition to the standard repair or examination of process equipment, a shelter structure was designed and further erected to repair a 7,600 m³ air-cooled vessel. Scaffolding was also erected inside 1А/1М reactor section vessels. Circular scaffolding inside the reactors with a total volume of 2,450 m³.

420 tons of scaffolding was used for the project. The scope of work for the project was 173,235 m³ of scaffolding.
