SOYUZ took part in Construction Hero 2023 Festival

From 15 to 19 August Tomsk hosted the Construction Hero 2023 Festival, a professional skills competition for oil and gas construction workers held by Gazstroyprom JSC. The competition was attended by about 1,500 specialists representing 34 subsidiaries and contractors involved in Gazprom's construction projects.

The best engineers, welders, fitters, operators, drivers and other professionals during three competition days fought for the championship in 20 individual and 7 team nominations. The test conditions were as close to real life as possible. SOYUZ Scaffolding Plant (SOYUZ) also took part in the festival, but not as a contestant: SmartScaff ringlock scaffolding was used to erect an industrial safety training ground. SOYUZ scaffolding was also presented in the steel and reinforced concrete erection competition, and SOYUZ supervisors assessed the quality of the assignment as part of the expert committee.

The participants who scored the maximum number of points received certificates and valuable gifts, and the right to participate in the III International Construction Championship, which will be held from 17 to 20 October 2023 in St. Petersburg.

The International Construction Championship is an annual event that combines a competition of professionals in the field of industrial construction, a business program and a trade show. The event was established by the Russian Ministry of Construction and Rosatom State Corporation on 20 February 2020 and is included in the plan of annual activities to implement the Concept of Interregional and Cross-Border Cooperation of the CIS Member States for the period until 2030, as well as in the presidential platform ‘Russia - a Country of Opportunities’.
