In May 2024, the SOYUZ company entered into an agreement to provide a land plot for use on a lease basis as part of the implementation of a large-scale investment project “Manufacturing of Highly Loaded Elements and Structures of Scaffolding for Construction of High-Rise Structures.”

The plot was allocated for use by order of the Head of the Udmurt Republic Alexander Brechalov. ‘Launching such investment projects in Udmurtia is very important for the region’ commented Alexander Brechalov.

The budget of the investment project to build a hot-dip galvanizing shop is more than 400 million rubles. Of this amount, 150 million is the company's own funds, and 250 million is a grant from the Engineering and Innovation Support Center fund, received as part of a grant program to ‘nurture’ technology companies to meet the requirements of large Russian corporations.

The key objective of this investment project is the construction of a hot-dip galvanizing shop of SOYUZ Plant to create new jobs. Today, galvanizing is the most reliable and affordable way to protect metal structures from corrosion, and hot-dip galvanizing is the most effective and safe for the environment.

It is important to emphasize that the protective galvanizing technology to be used in the new shop is adapted specifically to the design of the scaffolding manufactured by SOYUZ.

The launch of the new shop will make it possible to speed up scaffolding manufacturing, reduce its cost, optimize logistics costs, exercise full control over the manufacturing process and ensure even higher quality standards of the products.

SOYUZ Scaffolding Plant (SOYUZ) is the only Russian manufacturer of ringlock scaffolding according to the register of the Ministry of Industry and Trade. The company's manufacturing facility as of May 2024 is 15 thousand square meters. The plant is located in Izhevsk and is equipped with advanced high-tech equipment such as robotic welding stations.
