The temporary protection system based on Soyuz SmartScaff frame is a technological solution for tank enclosure, which includes several components to ensure effective facility protection:

• Soyuz SmartScaff modular ringlock scaffolding set

• Cable system for securing the safety mesh

• Galvanized metal mesh (mesh size may vary depending on the site conditions and specific requirements specified by the customer in the technical specifications).

• Lightning protection systems

Soyuz SmartScaff kit is suitable for horizontal tanks with a volume of 100 to 50,000 cubic meters. It can be used for both soft and rigid tank enclosures. The versatility of Soyuz SmartScaff kit allows it to be adapted to different requirements and site conditions, such as limited space, non-standard geometry, weather conditions, etc.

The standard UAV protection solution, based on SmartScaff scaffolding, is designed for a load of up to 15 kN. It is capable of withstanding repeated impacts from small and light unmanned aerial vehicles.  

• Small UAVs: weight up to 30 kg, speed up to 60 km/h.  

• Light UAVs: weight 30–100 kg, speed 60–120 km/h. 

Local structural damage is possible in the event of a collision with medium-sized UAVs (weight 100–250 kg, speed 120–200 km/h). This may require the replacement of individual elements.

• Easy and fast assembly. Due to the simple design and the use of ringlocks, assembly takes a minimum amount of time and does not require welding or the use of any other special equipment.

• Durability. The service life of 20 years is achieved by protecting scaffolding elements from corrosion by hot-dip galvanizing with a thickness of 60–80 micrometers.

• Great safety margin. Special steels are used for tubes and die cast blocks to ensure high strength and a temperature range of -70 to +100 degrees Celsius.

• Increased load-bearing capacity. Steel decking, the main element of the working level in Soyuz SmartScaff system, unlike wooden decking, is not subject to accidental destruction, durable and reliable in operation.  Depending on the size of decking, its load-bearing capacity can be up to 600 kg/m².

• Spark and fire proof structure. It is achieved by the complete absence of wooden elements in the scaffolding system.
