The delegation of SOYUZ Scaffolding Plant visited Neva-2023 International Shipbuilding Expo

The 17th International Neva 2023 Expo of Civil Shipbuilding, Shipping, Port Activities and Ocean and Offshore Development took place on 18-21 September at Expoforum Exhibition and Convention Center. The event is one of the top 10 global industry expos. SOYUZ Scaffolding Plant (SOYUZ) was represented at the expo by Commercial Director Alexey Prokofiev, Sales Manager Stanislav Mineakhmetov and Project Manager Ivan Alipov.

This year the venue gathered about 700 participants and more than 30,000 visitors from Russia and abroad. Traditionally, the conference discussed robotics, business between Russia and Eastern countries, new technological solutions for business, autonomous ship navigation, introduction of unmanned above-water craft. The total area of the expo exceeded 30 thousand square meters.

SOYUZ experts visited the expo, held a number of working meetings with key customers and exchanged experience with representatives of foreign and Russian market leaders. The company's project portfolio already includes successful shipbuilding cases. For example, professional SOYUZ ringlock scaffolding was used to build an ice-resistant platform for Zvezdochka Ship Repair Center and repair a vessel at Onega Shipbuilding and Ship Repair Plant. SOYUZ is interested in promoting co-operation with shipbuilders, as this industry has a great growth potential and is a driver of the country's economic development.

Neva Expo was founded in 1990 by the Order of the Ministry of Shipbuilding and the Ministry of Maritime Fleet of the USSR. The event has been traditionally held every two years in St. Petersburg since 1991. Neva is the largest civil shipbuilding expo in Eastern Europe and the entire former Soviet Union. This is the first expo in Russia to be included in the top ten world expos of this industry. The event is held with the support of the Government of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Transport of Russia, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia, the Government of St. Petersburg, the Maritime Board under the Government of the Russian Federation, the Federal Agency for Fishery, the Maritime Council under the Government of St. Petersburg, the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, the Russian Chamber of Shipping, the Association of Commercial Seaports and other industry associations.
