Description

The steel plank is a load-bearing element used for overlapping non-standard spans at the working level. The plank is installed on the deck or another plank and attached to it through drainage holes with a special fastener.

Advantages

• The plank surface has through holes punched in two directions (volume perforation), which provided an antiskid surface, and removes water, snow, ice and other contaminations.

• Unlike wood, steel planks offer superior reliability in operation. They are not prone to accidental breakage and are designed for repeated use.

• The cross section (plank section) is intentionally recessed (4.5 cm) to minimize the tripping risk. Moreover, plank ends may be slanted at the client’s option to avoid sidesteps.

• Compatibility with European equivalents.

• Spark- and fire-proof design.

• Corrosion protection is provided by hot-dip galvanization.

• 20-year lifespan.
