The steel plank is a load-bearing element used for overlapping non-standard spans at the working level. The plank is installed on the deck or another plank and attached to it through drainage holes with a special fastener.
The plank surface has through holes punched in two directions (volume perforation), which provided an antiskid surface, and removes water, snow, ice and other contaminations.
Unlike wood, steel planks offer superior reliability in operation. They are not prone to accidental breakage and are designed for repeated use.
The cross section (plank section) is intentionally recessed (4.5 cm) to minimize the tripping risk. Moreover, plank ends may be slanted at the client’s option to avoid sidesteps.
Compatibility with European equivalents.
Spark- and fire-proof design.
Corrosion protection is provided by hot-dip galvanization.
20-year lifespan.
