The lattice girders are used to transfer significant vertical loads and span considerable distances, making it suitable for bridge construction, roofing, and shelters. There are two types of lattice girders: lattice girder with wedge-heads and universal lattice girders.
Lattice girders with wedge heads have a fixed length that ensures fast installation. A 48 mm diameter round pipe forming the upper and lower chords is attached to the standard rosettes via a wedge connection.
The universal lattice girder is used to cover large spans where the distance between standards is atypical. Attachment to the standards is achieved by using standard scaffolding couplers on both the upper and lower chords of the lattice girder. This provides flexibility in use and allows elements to be combined to achieve the desired length.
Metric interchangeable dimensions multiple of 0.25 m.
A specially shaped wedge head allows working level decks to be placed without gaps.
The wedge head has a symmetrical shape to ensure equivalent joint strength amid oppositely directed loads.
The pipe diameter of the main scaffolding elements (standards, ledgers, diagonal braces, lattice girders, cantilever brackets, etc.) is 48 mm. This makes it possible to put them together in arbitrary points by means of standard couplers without additional dedicated elements.
Well-designed arrangement of diagonal rods (lattice) in the lattice girder ensures unimpeded installation of coupler connections between such diagonal rods and metric standard lattice (multiple of 0.25 m).
