This is the starting element of the vertical scaffolding base, providing safe and rapid installation of the base level. It is a welded construction consisting of a support pipe (diameter equal to the diameter of the standards), a welded rosette, and a guide spigot/sleeve made of a larger diameter pipe.
It is installed on a base plate jack, a base plate with swivelling plate, a сastor, or other elements to transfer the load to the foundation.
It is used for:
- Creating a base level - the foundation of modular scaffolding.
- Ensuring the rigidity of the structure by connecting the base collars together with ledgers in the horizontal plane and vertical diagonal braces with standards in the vertical plane.
The SmartScaff system features two types of base collars: standard and long. The standard version is more commonly used due to its optimal metal consumption, weight, and cost. The long version is used in mobile scaffolding (e.g., scaffold towers) to increase stability and secure the jack to the castor.
The rosette has a figured shape, which protects the base collar from accidental falling or rolling, ensuring safety at height.
Up to 8 horizontal scaffolding elements can be installed in a rosette: four small holes automatically align them at right angles in two planes, and four large holes — at any necessary angle.
Rosette holes have smooth curvature radii to reduce stress concentrations and improve operational reliability of the entire structure.
Compatibility with European equivalents.

Corrosion protection is provided by hot-dip galvanization.
20-year lifespan.
