This scaffolding is symbiosis between two types—cantilever scaffolding and suspended scaffolding. This type is used sometimes on roofs of high-rise buildings for installation and maintenance of cornices, on bridges for inspections and repair of superstructures, in industry in areas with complex geometry and/or confined spaces, and in many other cases where scaffolding is erected at considerable heights (30 metres or more) and where it is reasonable to use cantilever-suspended scaffolding so as to avoid installation of a scaffolding structure from the ground level. With this scaffolding, special attention should be paid to the design proper, to tip-over calculation, and to correct installation because each member in such structures is crucial, and nothing can be omitted. Even in such complex structures, all members are standard ones and can be used in any other scaffolding types.
