Cantilever scaffolding

This is a widely used type/portion of scaffolding. It significantly increases flexibility and simplicity of use of the entire structure. Cantilevers (balconies) proper can be either ready-made welded members (with a typical length up to 1 m) or composite members consisting of various individual members (girders, diagonals, trusses, etc.). The length of the cantilever portion can reach 10 metres or more, and it is necessary to check the cantilever section thoroughly for proper installation and loads to be arranged on it. A critical factor on cantilever scaffolding can be a diagonal brace, which can be either a tension brace or a compression brace, and/or tip-over of the entire structure as well as many other factors to be considered in design of large cantilever lengths. Cantilever portions of scaffolding help you save significantly on installation and additional scaffold members as a local cantilever section can be mounted at any height, and a working or storage area can be arranged promptly.
