Bird-cage

01

Description

This scaffolding type can be found in industry and construction as well as at sports and public cultural events. Large free spaces are characteristic of bird-cage scaffolding—for example, boilers (condenser-type thermal power stations, pulp-and-paper mills, combined heat and power plants, etc.), concert halls, outdoor stages, and atria. Working tiers are typically located along the perimeter or at the very top of the scaffolding structure. It is important for this scaffolding to execute a specific design in order to avoid any surprises during installation and to provide access for personnel to the working surfaces. It is also crucial to check the scaffolding structure for strength and stability since scaffolding is often higher than 50 m, which significantly affects forces in poles and, just as important, reactions in scaffolding supports, and at the same time it becomes necessary to check the supporting surface for strength. The «SOYUZ» SmartScaff series modular scaffolding system is perfect for this kind of tasks because advantages of a wedge-type quick-assembly unit and those of system modularity open up in full, which makes it possible to erect truly colossal structures in the shortest time possible.
